Weekly Newsletter - The sense of I am
April 2007

Greetings!

Testimonial of the week!

From now on, every week, we will add a new testimonial with the hope to give you a different perspective from different people who come to experience what we offer.

Testimonial from Amy Appleton

II came to Integral Nutrition because I was looking to learn more about healthy eating, losing weight and doing it in such a way that coincided with my busy work schedule. What I encountered was so much more! Since going to see Ricardo, not only have I lost weight, I've gained a sence of well being that I didn't know existed. By continuing to take advantage of the wonderful programs that they have to offer, my mind and spirit have been opened to bigger and greater things. I love doing yoga every Saturday morning and it is complimented afterwards by the relaxing and therapuetic ginger compress. Ricardo is great source of knowledge, advice, and overall inner peace that I think everyone could benefit from. I am so grateful that our paths have crossed. My life has changed and continues to change for the better. Thanks Integral Nutrition!

Who Am I?

Western psychology identifies the sense of "I am" with a personality.

A personality is created by identifying ourselves with our senses and with our mind through what we think.

Identifying yourself with a personality is what stops you from realizing who you really are.

I will be covering each sense in the next newsletters

The Sense of Seeing

1. Realizing that I am not what I see, but the one who uses the eyes to see.

When we identify ourselves with what we see, we identify ourselves with forms. We see our body and therefore we identify ourselves as a body and because my body is different than yours then we see ourselves different than others and we start judging others by what their body looks like, by what kind of clothe they wear, etc

We see the color in our skin and because the color of my skin is different than yours then we see ourselves different than others and we start judging others by their skin color

By identifying ourselves with what we see through our eyes we fall under the illusion that we are what we see, when in reality our true identity, the soul, is formless.

When Jesus said "See God in everyone" he meant go beyond identifying your self and others with forms and see what's left, The Soul, God.

Most people fall under the ilussion of identifying themselves and others through what they see.

Couples spent years with each other, and yet they never get to recognize each other's true essense, instead all they see is the personalities "the about" of one an other.

When you identify your self and others with "the abouts" you start seeing differences within each other. It is this differences that leads to the feeling of separation, which in relationships leads to an unhappy marriage...

Marriage means union, union relates not to unifying two personalities, but to recognize "that" within ourselves, which is of no difference from mine or yours.

Use your eyes to see, to enjoy the beauty of this planet, but realize you are not what you see, but the one who uses the eyes to see.
